Before I took this magazine out of stock, I sanded it down with metal lip stones to remove scratches, and cut a bit of polish off the mold to clean it up. I do this with each new magazine to reduce the numbers. I then did a lot of shooting with my Glock 42 to ensure proper operation. Yesterday, I took the magazine online and it was running fine. I like this magazine very much. This magazine certainly makes the Glock 42 tough, if not concealed, but it's nice to run 10 rounds before reloading at the range. An advantage is that this magazine will be fully loaded so that the gun can be used higher and better the part that is more accurate by reducing the height of the muzzle due to recoil, at least for me. I think this magazine is well worth the price and I will likely buy more for general work. Great magazine at a great price. I recommend it.
Search three (30) rounds, with 2 errors (oven) in the Promag magazine. If I can't believe it, then it doesn't work for me. The same ammo goes very well in Glock magazines, in fact, I have never had a problem using any ammo in Glock magazines. I don't know and you don't want this magazine if it's special. If this magazine can't run like a Glock, then it shouldn't be made. Are you reliable when a situation arises that really calls for it?
A nice looking mag that holds 4 extra rounds when fired and is very strong, never used for carry, only factory glock magazines. My only gripe is that the finish is very thin and it doesn't fit properly, even though there are still rounds in the mag, but other than that it's a great addition to my range bag.
G42 With 10 Round Pro Mags.
Just got the mag in the mail. Promag has a history of reliability so I don't know how this mag will perform until I get to the range. Otherwise, it seems to be well done. I'll know in a week or two... or when the weather warms up a bit.
My Glock 42 fits perfectly and I've only used it once so far, doing it as well as the factory settings. No food problems, etc. It's also nice to have a base plate and a handle to use the space between the extended handle and the bottom of the handle.
