A Career Assistance Advisor (CAA) manages the day-to-day operations of FTAC. The FTAC Team Leader is a rotating position assigned by a different group of NGOs every 6 months to assist in FTAC operations. FTAC conducts approx. 22 five-day courses for approximately 450 airmen per year. The last day of training, the 5th day, is devoted to endurance training. This training is provided by the Armed Forces Servicemembers and Families Readiness Center. The FTAC course covers personal and financial processes, educational processing, Airman and Family Preparedness Center introductions, suicide prevention and awareness (Life Skills Clinic), TRICARE/Medical processing, disaster preparedness, and wing safety orientation. covers mandatory topics such as identity and equal opportunities (EO). , Substance Abuse Training, Prevention and Treatment, Mission Oriented Briefing, Enlisted Force Structure, Legal Services/ADC, Internet Technology (Virtual AF), Career Counseling, Sexual Assault, AEF Center, AFSO21, Dress and Appearance , exercise discipline and healthy relationships.

The mission of the Team Moody Professional Enhancement Center is to support and enhance quality professional enhancement programs. We strive to prepare people for career advancement and inspire them to become effective supervisors, managers and leaders.

The Career Advisor (CAA) oversees all professional development programs. CAA provides Air Force personnel with the information they need to make career decisions. CAA provides group retraining counseling to more than 1,000 members every year. The CAA provides other individual career advice, including assignment, reemployment, and separation options. CAA conducts 10 professional development courses each year - each course is 4 days per class of 20-30 or more students and covers all compulsory topics. The CAA also conducts two SNCO professional development courses each year - the course is approximately 4 days long. 65-85 MSgt selects and covers all required topics. The CAA also hosts an annual Recruiting Job Fair / AFSC Expo for those interested in retraining, special duty, deployment, ANG, AF Reserves or Army, Blue to Green. Professional development programs are located across Bemiss in building 1223, next to ALS. It is a $650,000, 4,300 square meter facility equipped with 3 classrooms and an 84-seat auditorium.

The Jason D. Cunningham Air Force Leadership School (ALS) is a 5-week course designed to prepare Airmen for management and leadership roles. ALS is a requirement for promotion to SSgt and you must have completed ALS for supervision/evaluation.

This course has four areas: professional pilot, expedition pilot, flight instructor and control liaison. All courses provide the tools necessary to be an effective instructor and leader in today's Air Force. The course covers 192 hours of training over 24 working days. The school graduates seven classes every year and enrolls about 350 students a year.

All students must be in "TDY" status throughout the course. Students enrolled in ALS are exempt from practice, recall, and PT testing (must be completed prior to participation). Students who are required to take the WAPS test will be scheduled to take the test before/after ALS enrollment. Good communication between ALS staff and NGOs/NGOs/students is essential to ensure adequate notice/preparation time prior to the start of classes.

Test programs are an important part of the learning experience. Moody Education Center offers a variety of testing options for the general population. In addition to military exams such as enlistment, graduation, and PME exams, we also offer college-level exams such as CLEP and DSST through the State Testing Center at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. In addition, we are a Pearson Vue test center that offers a variety of certification exams.
